Professional Experience
SiriusXM | Hits1 in Hollywood
As the Hits1 in Hollywood intern, I researched segments and guests and helped prepare interviews for the hosts of the show. I worked closely with the producer of the show to prepare high quality content and researched current entertainment news and events to be discussed on each show. The producer showed me how to set up the Hits1 studio and properly print out the hosts' show logs. Additionally, I got the chance to edit audio using VoxPro and Adobe Audition. During the show, I answered phones and screened callers to send through to the hosts.
Integrated Marketing Communications
As a production assistant working for Quinnipiac University’s marketing department, I utilized a number of different programs including Wrike, The Facilis Shared File System, CatDV, and Adobe Premiere Pro to create different promotional and educational materials for Quinnipiac University. I assisted at different shoots to obtain needed footage for “Campus Scene” and “Around Bobcat Nation" videos that got placed on Quinnipiac’s website and social media pages. I also created weekly vlogs for 10 weeks to showcase Quinnipiac's QU in LA program that were published on Quinnipiac's YouTube channel.
Quinnipiac School of Communications
As a graduate assistant for Quinnipiac University’s School of Communications, I opened and closed the Ed McMahon Mass Communications Center and
assisted students that needed help using equipment or programs. I also got to work with School of Communications faculty and staff.
